This isn't usually a sign of the printer "wearing out" in a catastrophic way, but rather a culmination of normal wear and tear, environmental conditions, and maintenance habits.

Follow this guide when you have noticed poor quality printing with your Ricoh wide format machine. This can be repeated several times.

Step-by-step Guide

1. Select user tools.

2. Select machine features

3. Select maintenance

4. Select printer nozzle pattern.

5. Select paper input location 1 and press OK.

6. This will now print out the test pattern.

7. Once completed press exit.

8. Select clean print heads and select all and press start.

Once completed, repeat steps 5 & 6 and check the printing. If there is no improvement, repeat another 3 times.
