How to Clean Your Scanner or Photocopier Glass

If you notice a mark or streak on your scans or copies but not on your prints, it means the glass on the document feeder needs cleaning.

This is a common issue and usually an easy fix. Dirt, dust, correction fluid, or even fingerprints on the glass can interfere with the scanning process, causing those unwanted lines or smudges to appear on your digital files or copied documents, even when your printer's output is perfectly clean.
