Environmental Activities

programme, Inception is able to ensure that
your organisation is able to minimise the
environmental impact as a result of your print
and copy activities.
Below is a short list of some of the key areas of
focus that we are committed to as a company.

Re-cycling Toners and Maintenance Parts
Inception is committed to reducing the long term environmental impact of all our products. All used toners, maintenance parts and supplies are either re-cycled directly by Inception or returned to the original manufacturer for environmental disposal. There, all items are stripped to their component parts. The toner bottle plastics are used to manufacture pedestrian bollards to help protect people. Other plastic parts and packaging are crushed and re-used in the manufacture of mobile phones, TV’s and Microwave’s. All metals and alloys are sorted by component types and re-cycled for use again within the manufacturing process.

Zero Waste to Landfill
Inception only deals with manufacturers who have achieved ‘zero waste to landfill’ status in their manufacturing process. This means that everything is either re-used or re-cycled, nothing is every sent to landfill.

Device Configuration
Most of our devices come as standard with duplex (the ability to print double sided), but the story doesn’t end there...
Inception can configure all duplex capable devices to automatically double side your all printing and copying as standard (single siding can still be chosen as an option the same way as double siding would be on a traditional machine), this not only helps to save the environment but can also reduce your paper consumption (and therefore cost) by up to 50%. This is one of the easiest ways to save the environment.
